The S-Trip! Caribbean Surf house is located in Caberete, Dominican Republic and is the perfect location for Canadians looking to get away and become acquainted with the surf lifestyle.

The island paradise of Hispaniola surpasses the imagination with a wild mix of dark green mountain tops, a convergence of cultures and a natural ocean wonderland. Cabarete beach is a tropical Caribbean heaven for parties, relaxation and Surf. Warm, crystal clear water, friendly faces and year-round surfing await you at S-Trip’s Surf Camp Caribbean. The bungalow camp is situated on a quiet lagoon in Cabarete with a trickling stream running through its gardens. The town center and beach are only a two minute walk away.

Surfing
For your first 3 days staying with us our expert surf instructors will have you well acquainted with the region and the local conditions. You’ll visit famous spots such as Playa Grande, Playa Caleton and Playa Preciosa. Surf lessons last 2 hrs each day for your initial 3 days. Additional surf lessons are available upon request.

Accommodation
The Surf Camp features a swimming pool and a natural stream that runs through the camp’s extensive tropical gardens. Comfortable bungalows sleep 4 persons each have large terraces with hammocks. High-speed internet is available- however we don’t recommend contact with the real world.

Restaurant
Breakfast and dinner is included daily during your stay. The Caribbean style restaurant that over looks the lagoon features fresh juices, tropical fruits and a variety of breads for breakfast. For dinner, BBQ’s, fish and our specialty “churrasco’’. For vegetarians there are plenty of vegetables, fruits, rice, beans and salads.

When not Surfing?
Windsurfing, kitesurfing, rainforest jeep safari, paintball, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving.

Trip Includes
Accommodation in the typical Surf House. 2hrs surf lessons for first 3 days (additional can be arranged). High Speed Internet in Surf House. Return airport transfers.

Travel Info
  • Passport
    A valid Canadian passport is required for Canadians intending to travel on this itinerary. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your expected departure from the country.
  • Visas
    Canadian citizens do not require a visa for entry into the Dominican Republic for stays of less than 6 months. Note: All passengers who are not Canadian citizens are required to verify their own Visa requirements.
  • Health Insurance
    Travel insurance is compulsory for all our trips. We require that, at a minimum, you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. When travelling on a group trip, you will not be permitted to join the group until evidence of travel insurance and the insurance company's 24 hour emergency contact number has been provided.
